We care more about what you've built than how long you've been building. * Salesforce fluency - solid understanding of object structure, data hygiene, and how CRM data feeds downstream automation and AI tools * Prior experience with Snowflake preferred, including a working knowledge of its data modeling and warehouse structure * Experience building API-connected toolchains and multi-system integrations - not just point-and-click automation. You are comfortable reading API documentation, writing integration logic, and troubleshooting when something breaks in production. * Practical AI and LLM fluency - you understand how to deploy AI into operational workflows without requiring an ML engineer. You know how to write and structure prompts for consistent, repeatable outputs and have built systems that use LLMs in production, not just experimented in demos. * Strong communication skills that bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders - you can explain what a system does and why it matters to a skeptical AE, a RevOps manager, and a CRO, without losing any of them. You also have the analytical instincts to identify where a system will fail before it does., API Documentation, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), Analysis Skills, Application Programming Interface (API), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automation, Cloud Computing, Communication Skills, Contract Research Organization (CRO), Customer Acquisition, Customer Experience, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Customer/Client Research, Data Modeling, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, Dental Insurance, Dentistry, Documentation, Embedded Systems, Flexible Spending Accounts, Identify Issues, Insurance, Machine Tool, Marconi/MSI Planet, Operations Management, Performance Metrics, Process Engineering, Product Demonstration, Revenue Management, Risk, Sales Operations, Sales Prospecting, Salesforce.com, Standards Development, System Architecture, System Integration (SI), Systems Engineering, Systems Maintenance, Team Player, Telehealth, Time Management, Top Sales Rep, Use Cases, Vision Plan, Website Conversion ## Description The Revenue Systems Engineer will own the ongoing evolution, optimization, and maintenance of the technical systems that power our go-to-market engine. Reporting to the Senior Revenue Operations Manager, this role is embedded in the Revenue Operations team and serves as the primary owner of the integrations, automations, and AI-assisted workflows that our AEs, AMs, and BDRs rely on every day. Our GTM stack - Salesforce, Gong, DocuSign, Outreach, HubSpot - is already built and connected; you will maintain, iterate, and extend it, while building the AI-assisted layer on top that saves reps time and automates manual work. This is an execution-first, builder's role: you'll keep critical systems running reliably while designing the next generation of AI-powered workflows that run on top of them., * Systems Integration & Architecture - Maintain, iterate, and improve on the integrations connecting our GTM tech stack - Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, HubSpot, DocuSign, and emerging AI tooling. * AI Workflow Development - Build and deploy AI-assisted workflows that support the revenue team - automated account research, deal prep, outbound prospecting agents, risk alerts, and follow-up drafting. Write the prompt logic, configure the orchestration, evaluate output quality, and iterate based on rep feedback. * Salesforce Development & Data Integrity - Assist with the technical layer of Salesforce - building flows, managing object structure, and creating hygiene standards that keep downstream automation reliable. * Automation & Process Engineering - Identify high-friction points in AE and AM workflows and help build systems that eliminate them using AI workflows or by extending existing API connections between our systems. * Tool Evaluation & Stack Ownership - Own the technical layer of the revenue stack to ensure the systems and processes you deploy remain reliable and actively used. Evaluate new tools against real use cases to help determine what's worth building vs buying. * Enablement & Adoption - A system no one uses is a failed system. Partner with Revenue Enablement to run training, create reference documentation, and work directly with reps to drive adoption of the tools you build. Own the outcome, not just the build. * Performance Measurement - Define how we measure the impact of systems you ship. Build the reporting that tracks conversation rates, pipeline velocity, and rep time-on-task, and use those signals to decide what to build, improve, or retire. * Iterate & Improve - Everything you ship is v1. Gather feedback from reps and managers, identify what's underperforming, and push improvements continuously. You own the full lifecycle - from design through deployment through ongoing maintenance. ## Related Videos - [Integrate your Cognitive Assistant with 3rd-party DBs and software](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/249-integrate-your-cognitive-assistant-with-3rd-party-dbs-and-software) - [Speeding up Web Apps performance with WebAssembly and Emscripten](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1985-speeding-up-web-apps-performance-with-webassembly-and-emscripten) - [ Your Code Is the Sales Team Now](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100327-your-code-is-the-sales-team-now) - [From Messy Queries to Scalable Systems - How Data Engineering actually works](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100203-from-messy-queries-to-scalable-systems-how-data-engineering-actually-works) - [The Power of Developer Communities](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1109-the-power-of-developer-communities) - [Building Developer Experience - Brick by Brick](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1461-building-developer-experience-brick-by-brick) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Best US AI Conferences for CTOs in 2026: Build vs. Buy, Vendor Evaluation, and Peer Intelligence](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/736-best-us-ai-conferences-for-ctos-in-2026-build-vs-buy-vendor-evaluation-and-peer-intelligence) - [Résumé-Driven Development: How IT trends affect the job market for software developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/59-resume-driven-development-how-it-trends-affect-the-job-market-for-software-developers) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix)
