As a Senior DevSecOps Platform Engineer, you will design, deploy, and troubleshoot containerized systems in air-gapped environments, develop and optimize production CI/CD pipelines, author and refine Infrastructure-as-Code, and embed security, observability, and reliability into every layer of the delivery stack. You'll serve as a technical anchor for a cloud-focused DevOps team supporting the DoW, combining hands-on engineering expertise with a deliberate mentorship mission. You will coach active-duty military personnel and government civilians, lead technical exchanges and labs, and strengthen the organization's ability to operate critical systems independently and sustainably. You will also help drive early-stage artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, including prototyping, evaluating AI-enabled capabilities, and responsibly applying AI/ML tooling within classified constraints. Your work will shape how the organization leverages automation, analytics, and modern platform engineering practices in highly restricted environments. Operate at the intersection of Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, enterprise automation, and emerging AI technologies while helping develop the next generation of technical operators. ## Related Videos - [How Cisco embraced a DevOps culture within its network engineering team](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/99-how-cisco-embraced-a-devops-culture-within-its-network-engineering-team) - [From DevOps to Scaled DevOps: How We’re Rebuilding Continuous Delivery as a Platform](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100018-from-devops-to-scaled-devops-how-we-re-rebuilding-continuous-delivery-as-a-platform) - [Rate-limiting using eBPF and Istio: How to protect your SaaS customers from themselves](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100220-rate-limiting-using-ebpf-and-istio-how-to-protect-your-saas-customers-from-themselves) - [Enabling automated 1-click customer deployments with built-in quality and security](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/83-enabling-automated-1-click-customer-deployments-with-built-in-quality-and-security) - [My journey into DevOps world - How it all started!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/545-my-journey-into-devops-world-how-it-all-started) - [Get started with securing your cloud-native Java microservices applications](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/123-get-started-with-securing-your-cloud-native-java-microservices-applications) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [DevOps Engineer Salary [2023]](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/203-devops-engineer-salary-2023) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 134 - Where pixels sing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/477-dev-digest-134-where-pixels-sing) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated)
