Preferred Qualifications * Background in high-availability, distributed systems. * Experience in scaling SaaS platforms. * Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, etc.). * Experience managing multi-region or global infrastructure. * BSC in Computer Science or equivalent experience ## Description We are seeking an experienced and strategic DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps function and drive the evolution of our infrastructure, automation, and deployment practices. This role will oversee a team of DevOps engineers and collaborate closely with Engineering, Security, and IT to build scalable, secure, and reliable systems that support rapid product delivery. The DevOps Manager has the understanding and experiences of cultural philosophies, practices, and tools to help Proofpoint deliver end-to-end applications and infrastructure solutions safely and at high velocity. The DevOps Manager will be responsible for managing, mentoring, and supporting DevOps engineers on their team. The DevOps Manager will assist on larger projects or run smaller projects by themselves. A successful candidate has technical depth and hands-on implementation experience of various practices and tools in the DevOps toolchain. The DevOps Manager is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to design and code modules for infrastructure, application and processes as well as participating in rotational on-call support.
