## About the Role

* A track record of building complex systems from scratch - and being able to talk about the specific decisions you made and why
 * High agency. You dont wait for a perfectly scoped ticket. You figure out what needs to happen and do it.
 * Comfortable in ambiguity. Were a Series A - things move fast and change often
 * Already using AI tools daily, and interested in pushing that further
 * Strong educational foundation in CS or a related field

Greenfield all the way., Architectural Services, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Coaching, Computer Programming, Conversation Engine, Healthcare, Machine Tool, Medical Record System, Patient Care, Pharmacy, Quality Assurance, Software Engineering, Team Building, Team Lead/Manager

## Description

Were building out our engineering hub in Orlando, and we want a Staff Engineer whos genuinely excited about owning something - not just contributing to it. Youll be a technical anchor for one of our core products, making architectural calls that matter six months from now, not just this sprint.

This is a hands-on role. Youll write code, not just review it.

What youll be doing

Youll set the technical bar - through your own code as much as your decisions. Youll design systems that span multiple components, produce design docs the broader team actually uses, and spot the debt hotspots before they become fires.

On the AI side: were native by design. Cursor, Claude, the lot. Youll design agentic workflows (automated reviews, LLM-assisted QA) and contribute directly to AI-powered features - RAG, function calling, evaluation frameworks. Youll also help pick the tooling and set the patterns others follow.

Beyond the code, youll own delivery across workstreams, manage cross-team dependencies, and translate between what engineering can do and what the business needs. Youll grow the people around you through coaching and hiring, not through process overhead.
