## Description

Reporting to the Head of Digital Projects, the Digital Projects' Snow Fellow works closely with the both the Digital Projects team and University Archives team to perform large-scale digitization and description of the Edgar Snow collection. This Missouri State Library's Library Services and Technology Act's grant funded position will run from August 2026 to March 2027. The Digital Projects Fellow is a term-limited, part-time, non-benefit eligible, senior academic fellow and has no supervisory responsibilities., * Trains on best practices in digitization and digitizes roughly 10% of the Edgar Snow collection for digital publication

 * Trains on best practices in metadata and describes roughly 5-10% of the Edgar Snow collection for digital publication
 * Trains on digital publication and publishes digital Snow objects in Digital Project's Omeka S platform
 * Provides regular promotional contributions for grant updates in the form of blog posts and social media all coordinated with the Head of Digital Projects, the Head of Outreach and Engagement, and the Metadata Librarian
 * Professionally engages with best practices in digital collections, in order to create good user experience for library users and the UMKC community
