## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but not required depending skills and experience.
 * Salesforce Developer certification preferred.
 * Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce development experience.
 * Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data model.
 * Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, and SOQL/SOSL.
 * Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Informatica, Jitterbit, Boomi, etc.
 * Knowledge of data migration tools and techniques.
 * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional consideration for:

 * Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud.
 * Knowledge of higher education industry standards and regulations (e.g., FERPA).
 * Experience with Agile development methodologies.
 * Experience with Salesforce testing and deployment tools.
 * Experience with DevOps and testing automation tools
 * Experience working as a Full Stack developer.

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom Salesforce solutions tailored to the unique needs of colleges and universities. The ideal candidate possesses a strong desire to understand higher education processes and has a deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform., * Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications and integrations.

 * Develop Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other Salesforce configurations.
 * Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications using APIs and middleware.
 * Perform data migrations and transformations to populate Salesforce data.
 * Optimize Salesforce performance and troubleshoot issues.
 * Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other team members to deliver successful projects.
 * Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and best practices.
 * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
