## About the Role

The ideal candidate has strong Oracle DBA experience, enjoys working in a collaborative team environment, and can quickly become productive with minimal ramp-up., * 5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience. SQL, Exadata experience is a plus.

 * Strong knowledge of Oracle Database administration, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
 * Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
 * Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
 * Experience cross collaboration with other infrastructure teams
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
 * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience supporting SAP environments.
 * Experience with Oracle Exadata.
 * Experience with SQL Server administration.
 * Experience with Oracle Data Guard.
 * Familiarity with automation and scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell).
 * Experience working with enterprise infrastructure projects and database migrations.

## Description

* Administer and support Oracle databases across Development, QA, and Production environments.
 * Participate in project work, including infrastructure upgrades and migration initiatives.
 * Troubleshoot database issues and resolve incidents in a timely manner
 * Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
 * Monitor database health, availability, capacity, and performance.
 * Support backup, recovery, and database restore activities.
 * Assist with database migrations, refreshes, cloning, and maintenance activities.
 * Support SAP database operations and collaborate with SAP Basis and Infrastructure teams.
 * Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
 * Follow established operational, security, and change management processes.
