The Core-CT division is responsible for the State of Connecticut's PeopleSoft-based Enterprise Resource Planning system. This position requires a strong background in state Financial and Procurement policy and business practice, Oracle PeopleSoft and knowledge of ERP systems and integrations., + and ability to apply management principles and practices; + relevant state and federal laws, statutes and regulations; + information technology methods, techniques and equipment; + Considerable + interpersonal skills; + oral and written communication skills; + Considerable ability to analyze information technology system problems and implement effective solutions., Ten (10) years of experience in computer or network operations, systems development, information technology analysis and planning., Three (3) years of the General Experience must have been in a lead capacity., + College training in management information systems, computer science or an information technology related area may be substituted for the General Experience on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours equalling one half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a Bachelor's degree. + A Master's degree in management information systems, computer science or electrical engineering may be substituted for one (1) additional year of the General Experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS + Experience with ERP Systems, especially PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials and Supply Chain. + Experience in Financials and Supply Chain applications. + Experience managing Peoplesoft applications or a similar ERP system. + Experience with DevOps practices and tools. + Demonstrates effective leadership and communication. + Demonstrates effective team and project management. + Experience with State Financial and Procurement policies and procedures. + Experience analyzing business processes and requirements and implementing solutions. + Experience with public sector financial and procurement systems. + Experience analyzing information technology system problems and implementing effective solutions. + Experience with information technology including security, reporting and relational databases. + Experience communicating with a diverse group both written and orally. ## Description + Management responsibilities for the business and functional support teams, focused on the delivery of key Financial and Supply Chain services within Core-CT, the State's Peoplesoft ERP solution. These services include the following modules :eProcurement, Purchasing, Supplier Contracts, Strategic Sourcing, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Accounts Receivable, eSupplier, Billing, Banking, Project Costing, Customer Contracts, Grants Management, General Ledger, and Commitment Control. + Training and Help Desk support staff. + Working closely with OSC management, technology teams, state agencies, vendors and other business stakeholders. In addition to duties listed in the "examples of duties" below, this position will be responsible for: + The day-to-day coordination of business activities and management of the FSC service delivery team. + Reviewing and establishing system and business priorities to address user related FSC issues and requests. + Working directly with the technical services teams to ensure system reliability, execution of key business functions and accuracy of ERP data and processes., + NEW : Some email providers may experience delays or issues delivering messages.
