Preferred * Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-location organizations, preferably in construction, field services, manufacturing, or distribution. * Experience supporting or integrating ERP systems such as Sage, NetSuite, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or similar platforms. * Proficiency with reporting and analytics tools including Power BI, Crystal Reports, Azure SQL, or similar solutions. * Experience with API integrations, database administration, and SQL query development. * Familiarity with IT due diligence and post-acquisition technology integration. * Experience managing relationships with MSPs, software vendors, and technology partners. ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco Meraki, CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications ## Description The Senior Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's technology infrastructure. This is a hands-on, ownership-oriented role focused on ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the company's networks, systems, cloud platforms, and end-user technology across multiple locations., This role is ideal for an experienced Systems Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of technology infrastructure, solving complex technical challenges, and supporting a rapidly growing multi-location organization. The successful candidate will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable systems while delivering exceptional support to users across the business., IT Operations & End User Support * Serve as the primary IT resource for corporate offices, field locations, and remote employees across multiple states. * Travel to branch locations as needed to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, network, connectivity, and technology issues that cannot be resolved remotely. * Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, VoIP systems, conference room technology, and other end-user equipment. (Apple, Windows) * Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of employees, including device deployment, account provisioning, and access management. * Develop and maintain IT support processes, documentation, and service standards to improve response times and user experience. * Escalate and coordinate complex technical issues with third-party vendors and service providers when necessary. Systems Administration & Infrastructure * Administer and maintain core business systems including Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, endpoint management platforms, file sharing systems, and communication tools. * Monitor the health, performance, and security of company networks, endpoints, cloud services, and infrastructure across all locations. * Manage user accounts, permissions, security groups, device policies, and system access controls. * Support infrastructure upgrades, software deployments, and technology refresh initiatives. * Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning to ensure operational resilience. * Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that improve reliability, scalability, and employee productivity. ERP & Business Systems Support * Act as the internal liaison for the company's ERP system and related business applications. * Support ERP users by troubleshooting issues, coordinating vendor support, and assisting with system improvements. * Participate in ERP implementations, upgrades, and integrations as required, particularly during acquisitions and business expansion activities. * Assist departments with reporting, data quality initiatives, and process improvements related to business systems. * Coordinate with Finance, Operations, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure business systems support operational needs. Cybersecurity & Compliance * Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices including endpoint protection, MFA, access controls, and security awareness initiatives. * Monitor security alerts and coordinate remediation efforts for identified vulnerabilities and risks. * Maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards that support a secure and compliant operating environment. * Assist with incident response, system recovery, and ongoing security improvement efforts.
