OR * Master's Degree degree in physics, engineering, or similar technical discipline or equivalent experience AND 3+ years of related experience. * Active Secret Clearance and ability to maintain * Multi-object detection, association, state estimation, and tracking * Multi-camera geometry and image calibration * Data fusion and filtering * Strong grasp of statistical methods and mathematical principles in data science algorithms * In-depth knowledge of statistics, probability, and machine learning concepts * Good computational software skills are required. * Experience with MATLAB, Java, C++, and Python is desired ## Description Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking an intermediate Data Analyst/Optics Engineer. Primary duties will involve the design, development, and testing of advanced algorithms as well as data reduction and interpretation of data from real-time optical sensor platforms. A well-suited applicant will be a self-motivating individual capable of working independently and within a team environment and possess good oral and written communication skills. The position also includes opportunities to work hands-on with land, sea, and air-based sensors both in the lab and supporting test events.
