## About the Role

* Minimum Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Power Electronics, or related discipline or Master's degree in electrical engineering with 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.\n
 * Working with industrial drives, converters, or automation systems.\n
 * Solid understanding of motor control principles, drive topologies, and AC/DC converter systems\n
 * Familiarity with technical documentation, such as electrical schematics and troubleshooting procedures\n
 * Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills\n
 * Willingness to support critical issues during off-hours and participate in occasional site visits/travel\n
 * Ability and willingness to travel when needed to resolve site issues up to 20% of the time\n, * Experience with GE Power Conversion platforms or similar kind (e.g., MV7000, SD7000, PECe, RX3i, LV5+, MV3000, LV7000, LV8000)\n
 * Familiarity with PLC systems, industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, EGD, EtherCat)\n
 * Hands-on experience in drive testing and commissioning\n
 * Knowledge of marine, energy, oil & gas or industrial applications and related standards (IEC, ABS, DNV, IEEE)\n
 * Familiar with Matlab/PLECS for real time systems study\n
 * Autonomous, curious with the ability to understand new concepts, coach other engineers, and integrate into a team\n
 * Major Courses on Power Electronics Converters (MMC, multilevel VSI, LCI, DC drives or Cycloconverter), Variable Speed application, STATCOM, or active filtering\n
