## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * 6 years of experience working in a data center, enterprise or relevant technical environment (e.g., hardware).
 * 5 years of experience in technical leadership., * PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Experience in managing and designing complex hardware systems for data center and enterprise systems.
 * Understanding of the hardware product development process, from concept, design, validation, manufacturing and deployment.
 * Ability to influence decision makers and stakeholders.
 * Excellent communication skills.

## Description

* Lead and grow a team of system hardware engineers that deliver Data Center products. Define hardware product roadmap, system features and implementation plan.
 * Own end-to-end hardware system design architecture and product development, collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
 * Partners with silicon, software, data center deployment and operational teams and Contract Manufacturer (CM)/Joint Development Manufacturer (JDM)/Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) from prototype, engineering builds to mass production deployment.
 * Lead cross-functional team to address any technical and deployment issues.
 * Collaborate with key hardware vendors and suppliers to drive the industry ecosystem to meet Google's future needs.
