## About the Role

* A bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related field or commensurate, documented experience in a role with similar responsibilities
 * 7+ years' experience in software development
 * Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
 * Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset
 * Experience in public safety workflows
 * Experience in developing Public Safety applications is a plus.
 * Working Knowledge of: C#, C++, XML/XSL, JSON, SQL, HTTP/REST, REACT, WCF, GIT, Microsoft Azure DevOps
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services is a plus

## Description

This position reports to the North American Public Safety Regional Development and Integration Team. This group develops, customizes, and implements software interfaces and integrations on a product and project basis. The position requires communicating with a project team, functional team, customers, service managers, project managers and third-party vendors.

 * Participating in project requirement gathering sessions.
 * Preparing and maintaining software design documentation.
 * Developing product to customer requirements.
 * Support testing with customers and third-party vendors.
 * Providing second tier support for custom software deliverables.
 * Performing project delivery tasks within stated budget and schedule.
 * Staying abreast of Public Safety industry standards and specifications related to product development.
