Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems administration experience * In lieu of a degree, four (4) additional years of systems administration experience may be substituted Certifications: * DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher (e.g., Security+ CE) is required Clearance Requirement: * Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role ## Description As a System Administrator Level 2 at Independent Software, you will support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical Information Technology (IT) systems supporting national defense and intelligence operations. You will help maintain the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise IT environments by supporting day-to-day operations across client/server systems, storage, network infrastructure, and operating systems. In this role, you will provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, monitor system health, and assist with system administration activities in Linux/UNIX and Windows environments.
