Soft Skills * Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data findings simply. * Strong attention to detail and a methodical, structured approach to problem-solving. * Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in working with data. * Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to ask good clarifying questions and collaborate with stakeholders effectively. Preferred Skills (Not Required) * AI Literacy - Comfortable using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot in Power BI, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate workflows such as writing queries, summarizing dashboards, and drafting reports; understands the importance of validating AI outputs for accuracy and applying responsible, ethical use standards. * Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure/Fabric or AWS, Google Cloud. * Python or R (Basic) - Able to perform data cleaning and simple analysis using Pandas or equivalent libraries. * Experience with version control tools like Git. * Experience using project management or documentation tools (Asna, Jira or SharePoint). * Domain knowledge in retail, finance, healthcare, or technology. * A portfolio of personal or academic projects (e.g., Kaggle notebooks, GitHub repos, dashboards).
