## Description

Pearle Vision is seeking an experienced and dependable Receptionist / Optometric Technician to join our fast-paced, patient-focused team. In this role, you will play a key part in both front desk operations and clinical support - welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and assisting with pre-testing to ensure a smooth, high-quality experience from start to finish. We're looking for someone with a background in medical office settings, strong customer service skills, and the ability to balance administrative tasks with hands-on clinical support in a dynamic environment., * Welcome patients and manage the full check-in/check-out process

 * Schedules and confirms appointments
 * Manage multiple phone lines, respond to inquiries, and route calls appropriately
 * Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations prior to services
 * Work closely with billing to resolve insurance and patient balance matters
 * Process payments and balance daily cash and credit card transactions
 * Maintain accurate patient records and data entry in electronic systems
 * Provide clinical support to the optometric team, including performing pre-testing using the auto-refractor, tonometer, and retinal imaging camera.
 * Patient education for contact lens insertion and removal
 * Support overall office efficiency and maintain a professional, organized environment
 * Collaborate with doctors and the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
