* Currently hold an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.
 * Have either a Bachelor's degree and 3 years' experience, an Associate's Degree and 7 years' experience or a High School Diploma and 11 years of experience.
 * Demonstrated solution development expertise
 * Knowledge of engineering design processes and standards
 * Experience with project management methodologies
 * Experience with requirements management and technical documentation
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

## Description

USAFRICOM is seeking a Solutions Engineer who will serve as a technical leader within the Engineering group, responsible for translating business objectives into executable engineering solutions. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with hands-on technical expertise to drive integrated engineering initiatives from conception through implementation. This position is onsite daily in Stuttgart, Germany., * Chair the Integrated Engineering Working Group for assigned demands and projects

 * Evaluate business objectives and translate them into technical solutions
 * Assess skill requirements and resource needs for solution execution
 * Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering disciplines and stakeholders
 * Create comprehensive Demand technical assessment packages and present recommendations to the Requirements Review Board
 * Partner with Project Managers on project charter development and milestone planning
 * Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and design reviews
 * Elicit, analyze, and document requirements from diverse stakeholders
 * Collaborate with engineering teams to develop detailed Engineering Design Plans
 * Present design solutions and technical recommendations to leadership
 * Serve as primary technical liaison between business units and engineering teams
 * Partner with the Chief Engineer and other Solutions Engineers to develop and refine engineering processes
 * Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and methodologies
 * Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
