## About the Role

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

 * 18 Years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
 * A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience., * TS/SCI with an Active Polygraph
 * Experience leading a software development team
 * Experience with frontend development using JavaScript and/or TypeScript
 * Proficiency in building secure, reliable web applications on Linux servers
 * Experience with relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL)
 * Knowledge of, and experience with, Git workflows, continuous integration, and DevOps practices, * Experience leading Agile / Scrum teams
 * Experience developing PHP-based web applications
 * Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular, React, etc.
 * Experience working with NoSQL or document-based databases (e.g., Elasticsearch)
 * Knowledge of web accessibility and user experience design
 * Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering practices
 * Strong technical documentation and presentation skills
