* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline plus 5+ years of relevant experience; OR
 * Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
 * 5+ years of experience programming embedded controllers using:

 + C/C++
 + PLC programming such as Structured Text
 * 5+ years of software testing experience, preferably within vehicle systems environments.
 * Experience with network communications technologies, including:
*

 + CAN Bus
 + Ethernet
 + Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communications, * Experience developing software for vehicle control systems, including on-road or off-highway vehicles.
 * Hands-on experience with autonomous or self-driving vehicle technologies.
 * Experience integrating driver warning and driver assistance systems.
 * Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
 * Experience using SysML for system modeling and architecture documentation.
 * Experience with sensors and perception systems, including:
*

 + Radar
 + LiDAR
 + Computer Vision
 * UNIX/Linux programming experience.
 * Strong software system design capabilities.

## Description

* Develop detailed system requirements and overall software architecture.
 * Design, develop, and test embedded software applications and control algorithms.
 * Create comprehensive test plans to validate system safety, reliability, and performance.
 * Execute testing activities across simulation environments and real-world vehicle applications.
 * Participate in software development, peer reviews, and continuous improvement activities.
 * Follow CMMI Level 3 procedures and software safety development processes.
 * Evaluate system designs for functionality, safety, reliability, and performance.
