## About the Role

* TS/SCI (eligible for CI Poly)
 * Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
 * 3-5 years of experience in Configuration Management or a related technical field.
 * Knowledge of configuration management principles, change control, and version control.
 * Experience maintaining technical documentation and configuration baselines.
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Experience working with cross-functional engineering or IT teams.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment., * Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
 * Familiarity with CMII, EIA-649, or other Configuration Management standards.
 * Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
 * Knowledge of automated configuration management and CI/CD tools.
 * Relevant certifications such as Security+ CE, ITIL Foundation, CMII, or PMP.

## Description

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to develop, maintain, and optimize system configuration processes, ensuring accurate configuration control, system integrity, and compliance throughout the system lifecycle.
Responsibilities:

 * Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
 * Manage configuration baselines, change requests, and system documentation.
 * Analyze configuration issues and recommend process improvements.
 * Coordinate configuration changes with engineering and project teams.
 * Perform configuration audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
 * Support software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
 * Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and implement corrective actions.
 * Prepare configuration status reports and documentation for project leadership.
