## About the Role

* Valid New York State driver's license.
 * Three to five years of experience in a Help Desk or technical support role.
 * Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with users at all levels.
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (Office 365), and Windows Active Directory.
 * Working knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN troubleshooting, DNS, DHCP, VOIP systems, Citrix environments, Wi-Fi, printers, and mobile device support.
 * Experience supporting macOS environments is a plus.

## Description

* Provide comprehensive technical support for computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications used by Council staff.
 * Deliver on-site and remote technical support at Council Member offices and special events throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
 * Work a five-day schedule that may include Saturdays and/or Sundays, based on operational needs.
 * Diagnose, analyze, and resolve end-user hardware and software issues in a timely and effective manner.
 * Implement end-to-end solutions to restore system functionality and minimize service disruptions.
 * Provide responsive and professional technical assistance to both internal and external users.
 * Follow established Information Technology policies, procedures, problem-management protocols, and documentation standards.
 * Support users across multiple office locations and remote environments.
 * Demonstrate a structured, analytical, and disciplined approach to troubleshooting and problem resolution.
 * Perform other related duties as assigned.
