## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline.
 * Minimum 5 years of AI/ML development experience.
 * Minimum 3 years developing production AI applications.
 * Experience supporting Federal or regulated environments.
 * Proficiency in Python, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
 * Experience with model deployment, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and REST APIs.
 * Must be a U.S. Citizen and capable of obtaining/maintaining Public Trust suitability clearance.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

 * Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Vector Databases, and RAG Architectures.
 * Familiarity with Terraform, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Docker.
 * Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, and Google Professional ML Engineer.

Special Considerations:

 * Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust suitability clearance.
 * Work involves supporting Federal or regulated environments requiring adherence to strict security and compliance protocols.

## Description

The AI Developer / AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and machine learning solutions to support enterprise applications and cloud platforms. This role involves building production-ready Generative AI and Large Language Model applications, integrating intelligent automation, and contributing to digital modernization efforts within regulated environments. Responsibilities:

 * Design and develop AI/ML models and intelligent automation solutions.
 * Build production-ready Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) applications.
 * Develop Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
 * Train, tune, test, and deploy machine learning models.
 * Create prompt engineering and model evaluation frameworks.
 * Develop AI-enabled APIs and integrations.
 * Participate in full software development lifecycle activities.
 * Deploy AI solutions using CI/CD pipelines.
 * Support model monitoring, optimization, and governance.
 * Create technical documentation and implementation guides.
 * Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and government stakeholders.
