## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or related roles
 * Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and system administration
 * Experience with software development practices and continuous integration / continuous delivery
 * Strong proficiency in Linux environments
 * Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration concepts
 * Solid knowledge of computer networking concepts
 * Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Argo CD, Helm, Vault, New Relic, and Graylog
 * Experience working with AWS cloud services and Azure cloud environments
 * Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Docker Certified Associate
 * Experience supporting secure, highly available, and distributed production systems
 * Familiarity with modern monitoring, automation, and platform reliability practices
 * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field

## Description

Scientific Games is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team who can strengthen infrastructure, improve deployment reliability, and help scale secure, high-performing platforms.
In this role, you will work across infrastructure automation, CI/CD, system administration, container platforms, and observability. You will partner closely with engineering and operations teams to improve delivery efficiency, platform resilience, and operational excellence., * Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

 * Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality and speed
 * Administer and support Linux-based systems across development and production environments
 * Manage and enhance Kubernetes and containerized platforms
 * Drive automation across infrastructure, deployments, and operational workflows
 * Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes
 * Monitor system health, performance, and reliability using logging and observability tools
 * Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and platform issues
 * Support secure platform operations, including secrets management and operational best practices
 * Contribute to scalable, resilient, and maintainable DevOps standards across the organization
