## About the Role

* B. S. in Computer Science, MIS or related field; or 7+ years of related work experience
 * Minimum of 5 years' experience in an infrastructure environment
 * Experience scoping and sequencing IT related projects
 * Self-managed; ability to work well independently and in a global team environment
 * Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned work according to business need and priorities
 * Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform root cause analysis
 * Excellent written and verbal skills

## Description

* Design, implement and provide 3 rd level support for various global systems, including, but not limited to:

 * Global MPLS Network
 * Global Routing Protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF)
 * Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, Oracle)
 * Cisco based LAN/WLAN/WAN environment
 * Site-to-Site VPN/Remote access VPN
 * Operational Technology (OT) at our global manufacturing facilities
 * Load Balancing, CASB, Web Filtering, etc.
 * Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K
 * Fortinet FortiGate (NGFW)

 * Participate in projects intended to continually optimize our Network Infrastructure
 * Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness with a focus on business use-cases
 * Maintain effective communication with business-users and team members around design decisions, and implementation statuses and timelines
 * Author technical installation, configuration, and support documentation
 * Collaborate with peers on the Network team and as a member of the larger Infrastructure team
 * Perform planned system changes and upgrades with minimal impact to business operations which may require after hours or weekend work
 * Up to 10% travel for the purpose of project executions
