## About the Role

For this role, we are looking for a person that is able to create and build things from scratch. Is optimistic, committed, driven, and creative. In addition, you bring:

 * 5+ years experience in a similar role
 * Deep expertise in data science and machine learning, enabling you to design, train, and implement models in production environments
 * Experience transforming data models into scalable data products, preferably within a media or advertising environment
 * Strong analytical and conceptual skills, allowing you to recognize patterns in complex datasets and translate them into concrete solutions
 * Experience with machine learning tools and MLOps systems such as Docker, Databricks, and MLflow
 * Strong communication skills to clearly convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

## Description

As a Data Scientist Total Video, you develop data products at the intersection of data science, machine learning engineering, and AI to enable Total Video at scale. You provide the crucial holistic data focus needed to successfully integrate the worlds of TV advertising and online video advertising. With your expertise, you translate complex business challenges into concrete data solutions and contribute directly to the further development of an innovative product, that will transform the advertising market. You do this by:

 * Analyzing complex datasets and translating stakeholder challenges into concrete solutions, that you continuously improve iteratively
 * Developing and implementing scalable data products and models within a production environment
 * Collaborating within a dedicated development and product team on the realization of Total Video for the Belgian and Dutch markets
 * Working closely with Ad Alliance in the Netherlands and DPG Media Advertising in Belgium

We are the Total Video team, part of the Advertising Ecosystem & Strategy domain. In the coming years, we are investing heavily in the development of Total Video: a unique opportunity to help build a product from the ground up that will change the advertising market. The team is currently being built and consists of professionals with diverse backgrounds in business, data, product, and technology.
