## About the Role

* Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
 * Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL/AWS Aurora.
 * Experience optimizing database performance and writing complex SQL queries.
 * Knowledge of event-driven architectures and Kafka.
 * Experience working with cloud and DevOps technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, and high-availability environments.
 * Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
 * Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.

## Description

* Optimize database performance through SQL tuning and database improvements.
 * Design and implement backend solutions integrating Java applications and database systems.
 * Maintain and upgrade Java and Spring Boot applications.
 * Contribute to the evolution of a cloud-native platform running on AWS.
 * Collaborate in the delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
