## About the Role

To be considered, you'll ideally have:

 * Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
 * 5+ years' FPGA design experience
 * Strong VHDL and/or Verilog development skills
 * Experience with Vivado, Quartus and ModelSim/QuestaSim
 * Knowledge of FPGA development from design through to verification
 * Experience with Xilinx Zynq or similar SoC platforms
 * Understanding of timing closure and high-speed digital design

Desirable

 * Python or Tcl scripting
 * MATLAB
 * High-Level Synthesis (HLS)
 * Video interfaces (MIPI, SDI)
 * C++
 * Functional Safety (IEC 61508 / ISO 26262)
 * Defence, aerospace or other safety-critical industries
 * Current SC or DV Clearance

## Description

You'll be involved in the full FPGA development lifecycle, working alongside systems, electronics and software engineers to design, develop and verify high-performance FPGA solutions.
Key Responsibilities

 * Design and develop FPGA and SoC-based solutions
 * Develop VHDL and/or Verilog code
 * Integrate FPGA modules and reusable IP
 * Perform simulation, verification and hardware testing
 * Support timing analysis and FPGA optimisation
 * Produce technical documentation and verification plans
 * Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
