You'll pick it up, sort it, and keep it moving. You'll work alongside our IT Operations Lead, who'll set you up with clear guides for the common jobs and take on anything bigger. Your focus is getting the everyday stuff done well and making people feel looked after while you do it. What will you spend your time doing? Accounts, access and software * Set up and manage accounts across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 and Teams, Slack, and the tools our teams use day to day * Grant software licences and access (Claude, Figma, Asana and the rest), handle permission changes and shared inboxes * Run password resets and sort sign-in issues * Keep our records tidy as you go, so we always know who has what Onboarding and offboarding * Get new starters fully set up before they arrive: laptop, accounts, access, desk kit * Be a warm, calm first face of Wiser tech on someone's first day * Handle leavers cleanly when people move on: accounts closed, kit returned Office tech, AV and meeting rooms * Keep meeting rooms call-ready: cameras, screens, mics, screen sharing and mirroring * Set up and fix monitors, TVs and office displays * Sort the small hardware stuff fast: chargers, cables, keyboards, peripherals Kit and cable management * Keep desks and meeting spaces tidy and working, no more dodgy cables and half-dead sockets * Manage stock of cables, chargers and accessories so we don't run dry Network and everyday fixes * First-line triage on WiFi and connection issues, log them, sort the quick wins, escalate the rest * Keep printers and shared kit running * Chase suppliers when something needs ordering or repairing, * Part-time, roughly two days a week, based in our London office ## Related Videos - [A Founder's Journey : From Startup Chaos to Purposeful Growth](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1926-a-founder-s-journey-from-startup-chaos-to-purposeful-growth) - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [Beyond the 9–5: Designing Work Around Humans](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1321-beyond-the-9-5-designing-work-around-humans) - [Panel: New Work](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/816-panel-new-work) - [Designing the Future of Human<>Agent Collaboration](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1447-designing-the-future-of-human-agent-collaboration) - [Fireside Chat with Kris Rasmussen, CTO at Figma](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/982-fireside-chat-with-kris-rasmussen-cto-at-figma) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Remote Work: Best Practices for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/315-remote-work-best-practices-for-developers) - [Best Companies to work for in London: Top 25 Companies in 2023](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/187-best-companies-to-work-for-in-london-top-25-companies-in-2023) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Remote, Hybrid, or In-Office: What’s Really Best for Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/638-remote-hybrid-or-in-office-what-s-really-best-for-developers)
