You will work closely with stakeholders to support both well-defined and more complex data ingestion routes, working collaboratively to engineer technical solutions. As part of this role, you will contribute to delivering a robust and reliable SIEM platform for our 24/7 EIT Cyber Security Operations to use to monitor and detect potential threats. Core Duties: Working as part of a collaborative and committed team, safeguarding BAE Systems enterprise IT Infrastructure Installation, maintenance and configuration of Cyber Security Toolsets, including SIEM, SOAR, Cloud and other protection and monitoring technologies Continuous commitment towards organisational, departmental and individual objectives and uphold security standards and principles Collaborating within project teams to deliver large, complex projects across the enterprise networks, including technology onboarding Deliver value through working relationships, collaborating with colleagues in Agile, Cross-Functional teams Ensure availability, scalability and reliability of Cyber Toolset, maintaining production systems and delivering future roadmap technologies Provide on call duties as required, Within EIT Cyber Security Engineering - Team SIEM, the primary focus is to provide and maintain the UK Cyber Security Operations Enhanced Protective Monitoring Capability platform (EPMC). The SIEM, both on-premise and cloud based, collates system logs to create a searchable dataset for analysis. This allows the EIT Cyber Security Operations Centre to monitor, search, analyse and visualise the data for potential threat alerts. Why BAE Systems?
