## About the Role

* Degree in computer science / natural sciences / engineering, or comparable training
 * Very good knowledge of PL/SQL (at least experienced level)
 * Very good database knowledge of Oracle
 * Confident use of build pipeline tools (GitHub, Jenkins)
 * Experience operating data warehouse systems
 * Very good English skills, level B1
 * Willingness to work early and late shifts
 * Experience working in agile environments
 * Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
 * Independent, team-oriented way of working
 * Strong communication skills and a high level of customer orientation
 * Strong sense of quality and responsibility, * Several years of professional experience
 * Knowledge of the programming languages Lua and Python
 * Knowledge of the Exasol database
 * Confident handling of automation processes
 * Knowledge of an ETL tool
 * Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and AWS-based components for data (e.g., Glue), IaaS, and containers.
 * Experience with PyCharm, Visual Studio Code
 * Experience with Confluence, Jira
 * German language skills

## Description

* Processing Jira tickets for data model extensions, database-related programming, ETL process adjustments (tool: biGenius), versioning in GitHub, specifications for automation, module testing
 * Performing general system integration tests (providing test data, monitoring job chains)
 * Creating new interfaces and maintaining existing ones
 * Supporting, contributing to, and testing upgrades and migrations of interfaces and their databases
 * Supporting/maintaining data delivery processes to downstream systems
 * Processing incidents and creating changes, e.g., for releases
 * Regular taking on early shifts and shift duties (early and late) at month-end, Allianz Technology has an in-house recruitment team that sources great candidates directly.
