## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Infrastructure Security or Application Security.
 * Previous experience building or significantly maturing a security function within a startup or scale-up environment.
 * Strong hands-on experience securing AWS (or GCP), Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
 * Solid understanding of application security principles, OWASP Top 10, API Security and secure software development.
 * Programming experience with Python, Go or TypeScript.
 * Experience with incident response, vulnerability management and security automation.
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously in an international environment.

Nice to have:

 * Experience with Terraform, Docker or Infrastructure as Code security.
 * Knowledge of GDPR, SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
 * Background in penetration testing or offensive security.

## Description

* Design and implement the company's security strategy, establishing security practices and controls from the ground up.
 * Secure cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments and applications, improving the overall security posture across the platform.
 * Lead vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring while collaborating closely with engineering teams.
 * Promote a security-first culture through awareness initiatives, documentation and practical guidance for developers.
 * Partner with Platform, Engineering and leadership teams to balance business growth with security best practices.
