Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Exchange Engineer - Senior Consultant - **Company:** MHP Management- und IT-Beratung GmbH - **Location:** Germany - **Experience:** Expert - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Online Services, Client Access Licensing, Cyber Security, Databases, Microsoft Exchange Server, Windows PowerShell, Microsoft SharePoint, Enterprise Software Applications, Performance Monitor - **Published:** August 4, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.jobbird.com/de/stellenangebote/25589792-exchange-engineer-senior-consultant-f-m-d ## About the Role * More than five years of experience with Microsoft Exchange on-premises and Exchange Online administration; * Experience with Active Directory and PowerShell; * Strong knowledge of Exchange architecture, including mailbox databases, transport services, and client access protocols; * Experience with Exchange Server 2016, 2019, Exchange SE; * Experience with PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration; * Knowledge of Exchange and Microsoft 365 architecture and design; * Experience with Exchange and Microsoft 365 migration and upgrade projects; * Experience with Exchange and Microsoft 365 security and compliance; * Experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint; * Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; * Strong communication and collaboration skills; * Microsoft certifications in Exchange and Microsoft 365 ## Description * Ensure the stability, performance, availability, and security of Exchange and Microsoft 365 messaging services through proactive monitoring and maintenance. * Administer and maintain Exchange databases, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, resource mailboxes, and distribution groups. * Configure and manage Exchange connectors, mail flow, transport rules, and messaging policies. * Troubleshoot and resolve Exchange Server, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 issues, including mail flow and email delivery incidents. * Implement and maintain Exchange and Microsoft 365 security controls in close collaboration with the Information Security teams. * Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure seamless integration between Exchange Server, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise systems. * Provide 2nd and 3rd level support by managing incidents and service requests in close cooperation with the IT Service Desk and global support teams. * Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Exchange and Microsoft 365 documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards. * Stay up to date with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 technologies, best practices, and product enhancements. * Ensure all incidents and service requests are acknowledged, managed, and resolved within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)., At MHP, you will continuously grow with your projects and objectives in an innovative and supportive environment.
