## Description

Mathematisch-technische Softwareentwickler*innen installieren, modifizieren und entwickeln auf Grundlage anwendungsorientierter Informatik und Mathematik Programme für betriebliche, forschungsnahe Aufgabenstellungen. Ihre fundierten Kenntnisse in Mathematik befähigen sie, auch komplexe Programme und Simulationen zu erstellen. Hierbei werden verschiedene objektorientierte Programmiermethoden und -sprachen verwendet. Außerdem entwickeln und programmieren sie rechnergestützte und integrierte Informationssysteme. Neben der Programmentwicklung und Umsetzung können sie Rechner installieren, vernetzen und deren reibungslose Funktion der informationstechnischen Infrastruktur gewährleisten.
