Preferred * Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated industry. * Familiarity with core banking platforms and payment products. * Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification. * Familiarity with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Monday.com) and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint). ## Description The Product Owner position is a hybrid responsible for both defining product direction and facilitating Agile delivery for Core Bank's products and solutions. This includes platforms and initiatives that span multiple lines of business and internal systems, such as but not limited to the core banking platform, the loan origination system, and data/integration tools. The PO owns the product backlog and roadmap for assigned initiatives while also serving as Scrum Master, coaching the team on Agile practices and removing impediments to delivery., * Own and prioritize the product backlog for assigned products and solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and stakeholder needs. * Translate business requirements from stakeholders across all departments into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. * Define and communicate product vision and roadmap for enterprise and product-level initiatives, balancing cross-functional dependencies. * Partner with Shared Services and business unit stakeholders to evaluate the impact of regulatory, risk, and operational requirements on product decisions. * Make timely backlog and prioritization decisions. * Serve as the primary liaison for product-related support, investigating issues, coordinating resolution efforts, and communicating outcomes to stakeholders. * Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that delivered work meets the defined acceptance criteria and business intent. * Track and report on product performance and delivery progress to the Director of Product Delivery and other stakeholders. Scrum Master Responsibilities (30%) * Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, for one or more delivery teams (PODs). * Identify, escalate, and help remove impediments that affect team velocity or delivery outcomes. * Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. * Maintain visibility into sprint and release progress using Agile tooling and support consistent Agile metrics and reporting practices. * Protect the team from scope creep and competing priorities during active sprints, working with the Product Owner function to manage intake. * Foster collaboration between business, product, and technology teams to support a healthy, sustainable delivery cadence. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of Product Delivery's Agile practices, templates, and playbooks.
