## About the Role

* 5+ years of Software Engineering or Software Development in Test (SDET) experience.
 * 1+ year of hands-on Android Test Automation experience on physical devices.
 * Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Java, or C++.
 * Experience with Android, AOSP, ADB, device provisioning, and device configuration.
 * Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
 * Ability to work independently in a collaborative engineering environment., * Experience with Android platform or system-level testing.
 * Familiarity with prototype hardware validation and device labs.
 * Experience with release validation, regression testing, and automation framework development.

## Description

We are looking for an experienced Android Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test solutions for Android-based prototype devices. In this role, you will help ensure software quality, stability, and release readiness by building scalable automation, validating software across multiple builds, and collaborating with engineering teams., * Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites for Android applications and platform features.

 * Provision, configure, and manage physical Android/AOSP devices for testing.
 * Execute automated regression, integration, and release validation tests.
 * Analyse test failures, debug issues using logs and crash reports, and work with developers to resolve defects.
 * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve test reliability.
 * Identify test coverage gaps and contribute to quality planning and release readiness.
