What You Will Do:

The Design Engineer will support strategic and ongoing customer engagements by providing designs, calculations, drawings, BOMs, etc. for both conventional and complex product initiatives.

 * Use ASME code calculations to fulfill complex customer specifications, as well as develop calculation tools for applications where calculation tools do not exist
 * Prepare simple and complex layouts for components and subassemblies with focus on designing for cost and manufacturability
 * Partner with manufacturing, purchasing, application engineering, and sales to deliver customer projects
 * Support the team with validating each other's output, analysis of results, and other efforts to produce world-class products
 * Contribute to setting project team priorities and provide technical leadership
 * Collaborate with internal teams to construct project scope and determine costs and manufacturing feasibility

What You Bring:

 * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)

 * or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET)

Proficiency in Solidworks
