## Description

Bright Purple are recruiting for an experienced C#/.Net & WinForms Developer to join a well-established investment technology team delivering enhancements and continuous improvements across a portfolio of business-critical applications.
This role is ideal for a contractor who enjoys working within complex enterprise environments, balancing hands-on database development with application enhancement work across mature systems that are central to daily business operations.
The Opportunity:
You'll become part of a collaborative development team responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and modernising a suite of front-office applications used by investment professionals. The focus is on delivering incremental improvements, reducing technical debt, and supporting ongoing business change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
o Developing and enhancing enterprise applications built on C#/.NET WinForms
o Designing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL database objects including procedures, packages, functions, and scheduled jobs
o Supporting the ongoing evolution of business-critical systems and processes
o Investigating and resolving complex technical issues within existing applications
o Working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
o Participating in technical design, peer reviews, testing, and release activities
o Contributing to technical debt reduction and application modernisation initiatives
