## About the Role

* Strong commercial experience with Python and/or Java, plus cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
 * Hands-on experience with LLM-based application development (RAG, agents, copilots)
 * Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering
 * Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) a plus
 * Strong understanding of scalable, production-grade system design
 * Comfortable working across experimentation and live deployment environments

## Description

* Design and build scalable back-end services and APIs to support AI/LLM-powered features
 * Develop and maintain infrastructure for deploying, monitoring, and scaling AI models in production
 * Integrate cloud and/or locally hosted LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, open-source models) into live products
 * Build RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and prompt/conversation systems
 * Collaborate with data, product, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
 * Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability for AI-driven services
 * Own the full lifecycle: experimentation, prototyping, and production deployment
