## About the Role

* AWS & Terraform: Hands-on experience (specifically ECS Fargate, RDS, Lambda, or EventBridge).
 * CI/CD & Observability: Strong understanding of deployment pipelines and system monitoring.
 * Modern Tools: Interest in using AI tools in daily software engineering.
 * Codebases: Comfortable working with application code in Ruby or Python and navigating ambiguous problems.

## Description

As a Platform Engineer, you'll help our engineering teams ship code faster, safely, and on reliable infrastructure. You'll split your time roughly between:

 * Embedded Work: Joining domain squads to fix bottlenecks and improve their systems.
 * Central Platform Work: Building shared tools, infrastructure, and automation for all developers.
 * AI Integration: Rolling out AI tools across development, code reviews, and incident response., * Internal Tooling: Create feature flags, canary rollouts, and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Core Infrastructure: Manage and optimise AWS, GitHub, Datadog, and Cloudflare.
 * Automation: Eliminate repetitive manual tasks for engineering teams, utilising AI tools where you can.
 * Production Support: Guide squads on managing their own apps using metrics, logs, and SLOs.
