Nice to have: * Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms. * Cross-cloud integrations (AWS EventBridge and Azure Service Bus). * Familiarity with PHP or legacy .NET Framework applications. ## Description Lead Software Engineer (.NET / Azure / AWS) Location: hybrid, Manchester Salary- £80,000 - £90,000 We're working with a fast-growing technology business that is scaling its platform and looking for a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across key product areas. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll continue to write code, influence architecture, support engineering standards, and manage a small team of engineers. Key Responsibilities * Lead the design and development of backend services and APIs using C# and .NET Core. * Own technical decisions around REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and cloud integrations. * Work across Azure and AWS environments, including App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage, and EventBridge. * Drive engineering quality through testing, code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and best practices. * Support and mentor a small team of engineers through regular feedback, coaching, and development conversations. * Contribute to architecture decisions, technical documentation, and engineering improvements.
