You will be confident communicating technical concepts and contributing to governance and design decisions. * Proven experience in network architecture, ideally within Defence environments * Strong knowledge of cloud networking and on-premises network design * Deep understanding of networking protocols and technologies (VLANs, SNMP, VPNs, TCP, BGP) * Expertise in network security design (firewalls, segmentation, zero-trust) * Experience with Kubernetes, including VKS * Ability to produce high-quality architectural documentation * Strong stakeholder communication and decision-making skills Desirable: * Experience with software-defined networking and network virtualisation * Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for network provisioning * Experience with network monitoring tools * Knowledge of SD-WAN and EVPN Together, as owners, let's turn meaningful insights into action. ## Description The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator. You will define standards, patterns, and best practices while guiding implementation to ensure alignment with architectural intent. You will work closely with engineering and delivery teams to support build and integration activities, ensuring network components are deployed effectively within the wider infrastructure.
