## About the Role

* Proven sales or business development experience within data centres, critical infrastructure or a closely related technical market
 * Strong knowledge of BMS, building controls, smart buildings, mechanical systems or critical infrastructure solutions
 * Experience managing complex, solution-led sales cycles
 * Confident engaging with senior technical and commercial stakeholders
 * Able to translate customer requirements into compelling technical and commercial proposals
 * Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills
 * Commercially astute, organised and comfortable managing multiple opportunities
 * Self-motivated, credible and able to operate with a high degree of independence

## Description

* Identify and develop data centre sales opportunities from initial engagement through to contract award
 * Build long-term relationships with data centre owners, operators, consultants and project stakeholders
 * Manage and expand key customer accounts while generating new business
 * Understand clients' operational, environmental and commercial objectives
 * Develop technically credible and commercially competitive building controls and infrastructure solutions
 * Produce accurate estimates, proposals, presentations and cost-benefit analyses
 * Lead commercial negotiations, overcome objections and close profitable business
 * Promote service, retrofit and upgrade solutions across existing data centre facilities
 * Identify opportunities for multi-year service and maintenance agreements
 * Work closely with design, estimating, engineering and project delivery teams
 * Maintain a strong pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting
