As the first point of contact for our clients, the IT Support Specialist owns real client relationships and shapes whether clients trust us with their technology - which is less about years on a resume than about how much we hand to the person in this chair. It's a position we expect someone to grow in, not out of., * Provide day-to-day IT support for Windows desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, servers, and networked devices * Troubleshoot issues across Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Outlook and email, VPN connectivity, and cloud services; escalate complex or systemic issues appropriately * Manage user accounts, permissions, licensing, and devices in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Active Directory * Work tickets through our help desk system and assist with backups, patching, firewalls, and Windows Server maintenance * Document issues, resolutions, and client environments; contribute to root-cause analysis and process improvements * Communicate clearly with clients regarding issues, resolution steps, and next actions * Participate in on-site support and project work as needed - occasionally outside normal hours, though there is no set on-call rotation, Because this role involves access to client systems and data, finalists are subject to a background check and driving record review, conducted with your authorization and in compliance with applicable law. ## Related Videos - [What makes Cybersecurity different for critical infrastructure?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/571-what-makes-cybersecurity-different-for-critical-infrastructure) - [Agentic employees in world's most downloaded FinTech app](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100123-agentic-employees-in-world-s-most-downloaded-fintech-app) - [Building a Cross-Platform BLE Client with Kotlin Multiplatform and Kable](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100250-building-a-cross-platform-ble-client-with-kotlin-multiplatform-and-kable) - [Full-stack role-based authorization in 45 minutes](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/312-full-stack-role-based-authorization-in-45-minutes) - [The Developer Workstation Blind Spot: Why Your Security Stack Can't See What Matters Most](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100254-the-developer-workstation-blind-spot-why-your-security-stack-can-t-see-what-matters-most) - [Swapping Low Latency Data Storage Under High Load](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/746-swapping-low-latency-data-storage-under-high-load) ## Related Articles - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Tips on mastering remote job interviews](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/23-tips-on-mastering-remote-job-interviews) - [The Best Job Search Websites of 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/368-the-best-job-search-websites-of-2025) - [Remote Work: Best Practices for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/315-remote-work-best-practices-for-developers)
