Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred: Experience with SQL databases., * Office Environment: Ability to work primarily in an office setting, which involves sitting for extended periods. Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing at a desk) for 75% to 90% of the workday. * Computer Use: Proficiency in using computers for various tasks, which requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for typing and handling office equipment. * Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for meetings, presentations, and interactions with staff, students, and parents. * Mobility: Capability to move around the office and campus as needed for meetings, events and to collaborate with others at workstations/offices. * Repetitive Fine Motor Movements: Requires continuous and repetitive use of hands, wrists, and fingers for intensive computer keyboarding, mouse operation, and software navigation. * Standing: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time for meetings and events. * Lifting: Occasionally lift and carry items such as files, documents, or small office equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. * Visual Requirements: Ability to read and interpret data on computer screens and printed documents. * Hearing and Speaking: Adequate hearing to participate in conversations and phone calls, and clear speaking ability for effective communication. ## Description As a Systems Analyst, your primary responsibility is to analyze and optimize the university's systems, applications, and databases to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness in supporting the institution's academic and administrative functions. Your role requires a strong technical skillset and an understanding of the university's needs and priorities enabling the institution to better serve its students, staff, and faculty., * Analyzing existing systems and business processes, identifying areas for improvement to optimize workflows and streamline processes. * Designing, developing, testing, and implementing new systems and applications. * Collaborating with university stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs. * Utilize SQL to create and maintain stored procedures, jobs, and processes. * Providing second-level technical support to university staff and faculty to resolve system-related issues and ensure the smooth operation of critical systems. * Managing system security and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. * Training end-users on new systems and applications and providing ongoing support as needed. Conducting system audits and performance evaluations to ensure systems are meeting service level agreements and performance metrics., All employees are responsible for maintaining an environment that is free from discrimination, intimidation, harassment, including sexual harassment., * SEU promotes a safe working environment.
