Training and/or Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Experience: One (1) year of experience using a computer to perform work-related tasks. Experience supporting Human Resources or an HRIS is preferred., Subject to background investigation. Must be able to maintain confidentiality of employee and personnel information. Physical Demands: Operation of keyboard devices. ## Description Performs entry-level technical and administrative work supporting the County's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The work involves processing routine HRIS transactions, maintaining employee and position records, assisting employees with Workday functions, producing standard reports, and providing first-level customer support. Work is performed under established procedures and general supervision of the HRIS Analyst. Essential Job Functions Processes routine HRIS transactions including employee, position, and organizational updates while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality. Maintains employee, position, and organizational records supporting Human Resources operations. Runs standard HRIS reports, verifies information for completeness, and refers discrepancies requiring analysis to the HRIS Analyst. Provides first-level assistance to employees regarding Workday self-service, password assistance, and routine HRIS questions. Maintains HRIS documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures. Tracks HRIS requests and maintains related records. Assists with routine testing, validation, data verification, and designated HRIS support functions. Other Duties Performs related work as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (These are pre-employment KSA that apply only to Essential Job Functions.) Knowledge of - * Human Resources Information Systems concepts. * Data management principles. * Microsoft Office applications and reporting tools. * Basic office technologies and recordkeeping practices.
