## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Verification Engineer to support the development and certification of safety-critical avionics software. This role focuses on requirements-based verification, software integration, and testing in compliance with DO-178C standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience verifying embedded software at Design Assurance Level (DAL) A or B and is proficient in Embedded C++ development and testing., * 5+ years of experience in embedded software verification.

 * Hands-on experience performing DO-178C DAL A or DAL B Requirements-Based Verification.
 * Experience with low-level software integration and verification, including unit testing.
 * Strong programming experience with Embedded C++.
 * Understanding of software development lifecycle processes for safety-critical embedded systems.
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills., * Experience developing software requirements in accordance with DO-178C DAL A or DAL B.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another STEM-related discipline.
 * Candidates without a STEM degree will be considered if they possess the required DO-178C and embedded software verification experience.

## Description

* Perform requirements-based verification activities for embedded software in accordance with DO-178C DAL A or B certification requirements.
 * Develop and execute software verification procedures, test cases, and test scripts.
 * Conduct low-level software integration and verification, including unit testing and integration testing.
 * Analyze software requirements and ensure complete traceability between requirements, code, and test artifacts.
 * Document verification results and resolve software discrepancies through defect analysis and root cause investigation.
 * Collaborate with software developers, systems engineers, and certification teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
 * Participate in peer reviews of software requirements, design, code, and verification documentation.
 * Support certification efforts by preparing documentation and verification evidence required for regulatory compliance.
 * Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes and testing methodologies.
