## About the Role

* 7-10 years experience in network engineering or architecture.
 * Broad expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, proxies, DNS/DDI.
 * Strong understanding of modern application architectures and connectivity flows.
 * Ability to translate application needs into scalable network solutions.
 * Excellent communication skills and ability to face off with developers.
 * Experience developing standards and reference architectures., * CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications.
 * Experience with cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.
 * Familiarity with Zero Trust, microservices, service mesh.
 * Experience guiding standards adoption across diverse teams.

## Description

* Assess new project/application requirements and determine alignment with standards.
 * Identify when true requirements justify modifying or creating new standards.
 * Act as the primary liaison for application teams requesting network services.
 * Translate application requirements into network architecture considerations.
 * Guide teams to use standard, reusable network capabilities.
 * Produce high-level and detailed network solution designs.
 * Review designs for compliance, operational readiness, and standards adherence.
 * Collaborate across Cloud, Security, Platform, and Application Architecture teams.
 * Provide architectural leadership and mentorship across network engineering.
