## About the Role

This position is ideal for a highly motivated team-player who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Team members within our Data Prep department serve as a link between Design and Shop Floor manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail, aptitude for CAD, and ability to collaborate well with others., * Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.

 * Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
 * Must possess sound problem-solving skills.
 * Must possess quality communication skills.
 * Personal computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite required.
 * 5+ years Design and CAD experience, strongly preferred.
 * Experience in a tool shop, preferred.

## Description

* Able to work with minimal supervision in an efficient, effective manner.
 * Prepare the files of data that are received from the design department for use by the machinists.
 * Assure that the floor has the latest data that is in the design.
 * Assure that the machinists receive the data in the correct type of file format.
 * Confer with machine department to determine the best machining practices for the components that need to be machined.
 * Use Epicor (ERP system)
 * Able to multi-task and possess organizational skills
