## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience in Middleware Administration/Engineering.
 * Hands-on experience with:
 * IBM MQ
 * Kafka
 * OpenShift
 * IBM WebSphere
 * Apache Tomcat
 * IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB)
 * IBM DataPower & API Connect (APIC)

 * Experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or SQL.

 * Experience supporting both On-Prem and Cloud environments (Azure preferred).

 * Knowledge of Distributed Systems, Networking, Storage, and Databases.

 * Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.

 * Familiarity with DevOps principles, automation, and infrastructure configuration.

 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills., * Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
 * Experience with Azure cloud services.
 * Experience with DevOps tools and automation frameworks.
 * Healthcare industry experience is a plus.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to support and maintain enterprise middleware platforms in a large-scale production environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IBM MQ, Kafka, OpenShift, WebSphere, Tomcat, and API technologies, along with experience supporting cloud-based integrations., * Administer, deploy, configure, monitor, and optimize enterprise middleware platforms.

 * Provide production support and resolve complex middleware issues.
 * Support IBM MQ, Kafka, OpenShift, WebSphere, Tomcat, API Connect, and DataPower environments.
 * Work closely with application development teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
 * Perform middleware installations, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
 * Monitor system performance and recommend capacity improvements.
 * Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
 * Participate in cloud integration initiatives and infrastructure automation.
 * Support internal projects and ensure high availability of middleware services.
 * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
