## Description

The Expert IT Specialist will support mission-critical Department of Labor operations by developing, optimizing, and maintaining Data Warehouse processes while assisting in the migration from legacy systems to the New York State Unemployment Insurance System., * Design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.

 * Develop, test, debug, and implement ETL processes using IBM DataStage.
 * Create and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code supporting Data Warehouse applications.
 * Optimize ETL jobs and Oracle SQL queries for maximum efficiency and performance.
 * Support Fraud Detection and Improper Payment data mining initiatives through advanced ETL development.
 * Develop and maintain dimensional data models supporting enterprise reporting and analytics.
 * Build and maintain operational metrics, reporting queries, and analytical datasets.
 * Investigate and resolve ETL failures, data integrity issues, and production support incidents.
 * Develop and execute unit, integration, and quality assurance test plans.
 * Write technical documentation including specifications, process flows, and data models.
 * Implement program enhancements throughout development, testing, staging, and production environments.
 * Provide application support and resolve production issues as needed.
